Hello Everyone,
As promised on our last update, we are excited to share some photos of our ongoing mass production run. Check out the images we have for you below. We promise to post more updates next week.
We'd also like to inform you that we're currently working with a preliminary set of 5,000 speakers and we are on track to churn out the same number of completed Meteors by the 22nd of May.
Super excited to announce that we have completed the production of our 1st pallet of Meteors. You can see the pictures below.
Unfortunately we're still waiting for our supplier to deliver the remaining 15,000 speakers we ordered but, in light of a destructive storm that hit their production facilities in Guangdong province, manufacturing has stalled due to flooding in the factory.You can read more about the storm here: Link 1 and Link 2
We are frustrated at this situation as much as you guys do, but trust that we’re relentlessly pushing our suppliers. At the moment, we are pending a delivery date for the succeeding batch of the speaker components. We will make sure to let you know as soon as we have a delivery date finalized from them.
Either way, we’re driven as ever to finish and produce all of your orders as soon as possible. We’ll be giving you more updates on this development as we move along.
All that being said, we’re very, very close to finishing this project and we’re truly grateful that you’ve supported us this far. It’s been a long journey and an uphill climb for all of us; we’re tired and stressed, but we’re driven to endure and persevere until we give you the best smartwatch you guys can ever have. Thank you for all the support you’ve given to us despite these hard times.
We’ll be posting more behind-the-scenes photos on the enhancements we made to the Meteor. These enhancements represent the numerous improvements we made to the Meteor that we didn't get to share with you guys in the past. Stay tuned for this!
Final Packaging of the Kreyos Meteor & Accessories:
1st Kreyos Meteor Pallet:
We are super excited to see our 1st pallet shrink wrapped and tied down in the factory. FYI, shrink wrap is the transparent wrap around the whole pallet, it is used to secure the pallet and also at the same time to minimize possible loss or theft during cargo shipments. Because the Kreyos Meteor contains lithium ion batteries, you can see the Class 9 label and caution sticker on the master carton

You guys requested images of our team members, so we have here our team members from Taiwan & China. But it looks like they are not enjoying their vacuum - dust cleaning process

Circuit Boards:
These PCBs are gorgeous. We never shared this before when we launch our Indiegogo campaign. But we believe its time we share the "brain" sitting inside the Meteor. You might have seen the earlier prototype green version of the PCB board, now for the final ones we cover the remainder of the board with glossy black soldermask.
This is the "Nude" version of the PCB board before mounting the chips and IC components.
