(Continued)

The second update we have is related to the Kreyos Mobile apps we plan to make available on launch. Aside from being able to configure your Meteor from the mobile app, we conceptualized the app to be a fun, goals-driven, habit-reinforcing complement to the Meteor's unique fitness features.

We believe that being able to set goals that scale (from bite-sized to ambitious), constantly being reminded of the importance of setting goals and being rewarded is central to motivation and, ultimately, would drive you to continually use our products and gain maximum benefit from them.

With that said, the Kreyos Meteor app rethinks the entire goals paradigm and how they've been used thus far by similar health and fitness apps. We placed goals front and center with our app and made them integral into the entire Kreyos experience. We felt that by doing this, we make sure that everyone has something to aim for every time they workout and the unique rewards and leveling system ensures that we give users that much needed nudge to achieve and exceed each and every goal they set their eyes on prior to starting their workout.

The screen below is one of the many screens related to the Kreyos app's "Sports Mode". In this particular screen, the app calculates the user’s average speed and total distance as he runs. You can also notice how the app shows the overall number of steps the user has already taken.

It also shows the route the user has ran so far. From the screen, we can also see that the user has set an activity goal which he has met approximately 65% of.

Ultimately, all of these will be stored in a discrete web app from which users can review their historical stats, check out the goals they've accomplished and share their activity on Facebook, Twitter and other Social Networks.

These are all the updates we have for you this week! Expect to hear more from us in the following weeks. We are approaching our target ship date and we're excited to finally deliver the Kreyos Meteor to you guys!

Let us know if you have any questions! Shoot us an email at support@kreyos.com

Best Regards,

-The Kreyos Team

Hey Backers,

In our last couple of updates, we provided you a status report on how the fix to the echoing issue we uncovered during late-stage QA was progressing. As we draw closer to our target ship date, we also asked everyone who changed residences--including those who can no longer receive packages through the shipping address they specified when they pre-ordered the Meteor for one reason or another--to update their shipping information with us. We did this to ensure that we get the Meteors to you as soon as they become available. We know we've kept you waiting long enough and we want to take this opportunity as well to remind everyone who require an update to their shipping address to let us know by shooting us an email at support@kreyos.com.

Anyway, let's talk about this week's update. Actually, we have two updates for you this week:

The first update is a quick video demo of the Meteor's seamless integration with Google Now on Android phones (The Meteor’s voice command feature also works with Samsung’s S Voice by the way). Now, we designed the Meteor to be most useful for people who live active, busy lives (well that's pretty much all of us). The fact that we are, to a great extent, dependent on our smartphones and that we are pretty much chained to them is, sometimes, a hard reality to accept. But it IS a reality and the truth is, a lot of times, our phones get in the way of us living our lives--whether it's about wanting or needing to stay connected while we workout or just go about our busy days.

The Meteor is a fitness and sports watch at its core, but we feel that being able to interact with your smartphone in a more natural, unobtrusive manner with voice commands and gestures is a feature everyone will find useful.

We already demonstrated how the Meteor integrates with Siri in the CES video we previously shot. The video below shows one of our community managers interacting with Google Now through a Meteor paired with an Android phone:

Que desastre de actualización, es el video mas cutre que he visto nunca (no se ve que botones toca, nada de windows phone, lo de las app no hay quien lo entienda).

No le encuentro lógica. Para qué hablarle al reloj si luego hay que mirar la pantalla del móvil? Lo ideal sería que la info se mostrara en el reloj...

¿cuál es la diferencia de hablar al reloj o al móvil si total la información la tienes que mirar en el móvil? tiene razón Irarle, hay cosas que no se entienden.
